Dr. Jon Hansche, DVM

Dr. Jonathan Hansche

Dr. Jonathan Hansche grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah; Denver, Colorado; and the San Francisco Bay Area before finishing high school in Los Angeles. He earned a biology degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego and then graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing a one-year internship at an internal medicine and cardiology specialty practice in West Los Angeles, he returned to San Diego to work in general practice. There, he developed a strong interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound. Dr. Hansche is a proponent of preventive medicine and believes that early disease detection is crucial for effective treatment and management. He is passionate about both his clients and their pets, emphasizing the importance of communication to provide the best care.

Dr. Hansche met his wife while practicing in San Diego. They have three children, to whom he dedicates much of his free time. In 2013, they moved from San Diego to Columbia, SC, where he practiced for five years before relocating to the upstate. Currently, they have five dogs, seven cats, and eighteen chickens. Dr. Hansche enjoys gardening, nature walks, and spending time with his family.

Lisa Norris

Lisa, our practice manager, is a lifelong South Carolinian who couldn't imagine living life anywhere other than Greenville. Her journey in the animal industry began in 2003 working for a local humane society. After five years in shelter medicine, she joined the veterinary field and has never turned back.

Lisa's veterinary background includes small animal general practice and integrative therapies including Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Her primary professional interests are nutritional support, nutritional supplements, and 100% heartworm prevention compliancy.  Her special interests as a manager are staff and client communication, staff leadership mentoring, and client education.

Outside of work, Lisa is actively serving her community through her church.  She's a lover of college football and men and women's basketball and pulls for the University of South Carolina (no matter their record).  Lisa has two daughters, Annaliese and Ruthi. Their family is complete with an Aussie/Lab mix named Lola, a Shih Tzu named Esther, a sassy cat named Zora, and two community cats who have made a permanent home with Lisa and her family named Felix and Fiona.

Katelyn Hair

Katelyn went through the Greenville Tech assistant program in 2014 after graduating high school then started in the vet field the same year. Since she was young, she would rescue kittens and nurse them to health then find them homes and this started her interest in veterinary medicine. She grew up having all kinds of dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals along with horses.

She enjoys spending time with friends and family outside of work and exploring downtown Greenville whenever she get's the chance. Her fur babies include a pomeranian/yorkie mix named Asher that goes almost everywhere with her and a Beagle mix named Gunny who enjoys sleeping most of the day away inside. She always looks forward to meeting new fur babies and giving them the care they need as if they were her own.

From Atlanta, GA, Karen has been passionate about animals for as long as she could remember. She began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2019, Karen quickly developed a deep appreciation for the care and compassion that animals deserve.
At home, Karen is a proud pet parent to a diverse group of animals, including two sugar gliders, a bearded dragon, a parakeet, and two beloved dogs – Tsuki, a Husky mix and Poppy, a long-haired Dachshund. This experience with a variety of species has given Karen a unique understanding of the individual care each pet requires. With a commitment to animal health and well-being, Karen is excited to be a part of the love and care your pet needs to be happy and healthy.

Nicole is excited to be part of the team at Partners Animal Hospital. She graduated from Greenville Tech’s veterinary assistant program in 2021 and has been working with animals ever since. Her strong passion for animal care and well-being led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Whether assisting with treatments or comforting pets during their visits, she is committed to providing compassionate care to every patient.

Nicole also has an identical twin sister who is in the same career. In her free time, she enjoys visiting nature parks and playing video games with her boyfriend. At home, she has a 7-year-old Doberman named Doobie, who is the sweetest and biggest couch potato. She is thrilled to bring her skills and love for animals to this amazing team.

Kayla Veterinary Assistant

Originally from Lancaster, PA Kayla moved to Greenville, SC in June 2024, being the first in her family to relocate out of state. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 2021 and has a long-standing passion for animal care. With a particular interest in animal behavior and nutrition. She brings a thoughtful and attentive approach to every case and takes pride in continuing her education within the field. With being fear free certified she has a special love for creating bonds the dogs that are very nervous and anxious about coming in to the vet and trying to work with them closely about making it as positive as possible not only during that appointment but also the ones in the future as well.

Outside of the hospital Kayla enjoys traveling and hiking with her two dogs- Aspen, A Border Collie, and Murray, a Pitbull Mix. They also share their home with a polydactyl cat named Binx and two lively parakeets.

Mercy is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Partners Animal Hospital who brings warmth, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose to every patient interaction. With five years of experience in veterinary medicine—including two in emergency care—she thrives on building trust with pets who are nervous or unsure, helping them feel safe and supported.

Mercy chose this field out of a lifelong love for animals and a strong belief that every pet deserves a voice and the best possible care. Her favorite part of the job is forming lasting bonds with both clients and their pets, especially the ones who need a little extra time and patience.

At home, Mercy shares her life with a lovable St. Bernard mix named Goose and a curious cat named Jitterbug. When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her reading, playing video games, swing dancing, or enjoying active adventures with friends.

Molly Veterinary Assistant

Molly is a Charleston native who moved to Clemson to pursue her DVM degree. Since she can remember, she has had an extreme love for helping and caring for animals. She has grown up with many animals — including dogs, chickens, horses, pigs, cows, snakes, bearded dragons and birds. She has been in the veterinary field for 4 years and looks forward to utilizing information she has learned to educate others. Molly's experience includes working at a small animal clinic, interning at a Costa Rican rescue center, and owning animals of her own. Molly is always excited to wake up and help pets and their owners.
When she isn't caring for animals, Molly is out with her friends, cheering on the Clemson Tigers at a sporting event, at the gym working out, or at the library studying. Molly has a service dog named Max who is always by her side whenever she needs and never fails to show people how loveable he is. Molly also loves to visit Charleston every chance she gets to spend time with her family who she is super close with, as well as travel around the world.
